So help me if I had to choose. I couldn’t do it.

And to make the choice even harder, this was lurking in the background. I wouldn’t pick it over the ‘72 Targa or the F12, but it is a nice halfway point between the two.

I was showing new Opponaunt Reilly & Scott the lot at this country club, a favorite car spotting place of mine. That turned out to be especially true tonight.

F12, that isn’t even the most desirable Porsche from that era, if we’re talking 1975 turbo or that F12, it’d be though, but I’d grab the keys for the turbo.

Targa. No- wait. Carrera GTS. Damn it I can’t decide. If that was a 599 GTO rather than an F12 it’d had been easier because choosing between Porsches is like choosing between kids.

Ferrari for sure. For one thing, it would have infinitely more uptime than the Targa. It's also a lot more comfortable for just cruising.

Targa 911 is pretty much a trump card for me. The F12 is awesome, but it doesn’t seem as special somehow.

F12 for me, regardless of the fact that due to Ferrari depreciation and the insanity of aircooled Porsche prices that in a year or two the Targa will likely be worth more.
